Renter Responsibility
The customer, after signing the contract, has full responsibility for the condition of the vehicle. The Renter bears full responsibility for any damage, loss, or wear of the vehicle from the moment of pickup until its return.
Vehicle Condition Upon Return
The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle in the same condition as received, clean and without damages. In the event that the vehicle is returned in a condition requiring cleaning, the Lessor reserves the right to impose a cleaning charge of fifteen (15) euros on the Renter. In the event that the interior of the vehicle is returned heavily soiled, with signs of smoking (ash, odor, filters) or stains requiring specialized cleaning, a biological cleaning charge of 150.00€ will be imposed.
Driver Age
The minimum age for driving a vehicle is 18 years old.
Driving License
The driver must hold and present a valid driving license issued at least one year prior. Citizens of countries outside the EU must possess a valid international driving permit together with their regular driving license.
Payment Methods
The renter is obliged to present a valid credit or debit card, even if payment is made in cash. The rental is prepaid.
Guarantee
Each vehicle has a different refundable guarantee amount, depending on the type of vehicle, the driver’s experience, and nationality. The guarantee is paid separately from the rental cost and is fully retained by the company in case of violation of the contract terms.
Additional Driver
The first driver is free of charge. The second driver is charged 5€/day. In case the additional driver is not declared, a fine of 100€ is imposed.
Fuel
The renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as at pickup. In case of return with less fuel, the customer is charged for the difference. No refunds are made for extra fuel. Refueling the vehicle with the wrong type of fuel is strictly prohibited, and the renter bears full responsibility for any damages and related repair costs caused by incorrect refueling.
Mileage Limit
The rental includes up to 150 kilometers per day. For every additional kilometer beyond the limit, there is an extra charge of 0.30€ per kilometer, calculated upon return of the vehicle.
Accident
In the event of an accident, the renter is obliged to immediately inform the company and the police and provide the Traffic Accident Report. The renter is also obliged to complete an accident declaration form.
If the accident was caused by the renter’s fault, the renter will be charged 30€ for administrative expenses. In the event of an accident for which the Renter and/or the authorized driver is responsible, the Renter is obliged to cover the total number of days during which the vehicle remains out of circulation due to repairs at the workshop (Loss of Use). This compensation is calculated based on the vehicle’s daily rental rate.
Mechanical Damages Caused by the Renter
In the event that mechanical damages are caused to the vehicle due to misuse or negligence by the Renter, the Renter bears full responsibility for restoring the damage, regardless of the insurance coverage selected. Indicative cases include: driving without water/oil, engine overheating, damages caused by misuse of the clutch or gearbox, refueling with the wrong fuel, etc.
Road Assistance
Road assistance due to vehicle breakdown during working hours is provided free of charge.
Prohibited Use of the Vehicle
It is strictly forbidden to use the vehicle without approval/permission for: Exit from the Greek borders, transportation of items by a person not declared in the contract, transfer of rights to a third party, off-road driving, illegal use, exceeding speed limits, movement inside the vehicle, towing of a vehicle, participation in races or particularly dangerous driving, commercial use, unauthorized repair or intervention in the vehicle system, causing wear or non-compliance with interior cleanliness.
It is also forbidden for the vehicle to be driven by an undeclared driver, driving under the influence of alcohol, and any misuse causing mechanical damage.
In case of violation of the contract terms, the vehicle will be repossessed by the company, the contract will be terminated without refund of money or guarantee. In these cases, the Renter bears full responsibility regardless of insurance coverage.
Delay in Return
In case of delay in returning the vehicle, the renter is obliged to pay additional charges. A delay of two hours corresponds to one additional rental day. The minimum charge for delay is one daily rental charge, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Insurance - Full Coverage
Available optionally with an additional daily charge.
Note: The above insurance coverages do not apply in cases of violation of the Road Traffic Code, driving under the influence of substances or alcohol, or negligence (e.g. damages to rims, tires, windshield, underside).
Interior damages and mechanical damages caused by misuse are not covered.
Failure to report an accident to the Traffic Police and the company within 24 hours results in cancellation of all coverage.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations 21 days or more before the customer’s arrival, the deposit is refunded (transfer fees are borne by the customer). For less than 21 days, the customer is obliged to pay 50% of the rental amount for the days cancelled.
In the event of a no-show without notice, the reservation is cancelled after 2 hours of waiting. Refunds are completed within 7 working days.
During periods of high demand (July – August – Holidays), the deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made within 7 days before pickup.
Additional Terms & Legal Compliance
The vehicle may only be driven by drivers declared in the rental agreement. Driving by undeclared drivers, driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances, off-road driving, participation in races, drifting, burnouts, dangerous or reckless driving, as well as transportation of the vehicle outside the Greek borders without prior written authorization from the company, are strictly prohibited and automatically void any insurance coverage.
In the event of an accident, damage, theft, or any incident involving the vehicle, the Renter is obliged to immediately notify both the company and the Traffic Police Authorities. Failure to properly report the incident or obtain the required official documents may result in the loss of all insurance coverage and full liability of the Renter for all damages and related costs.
For security, operational, and fleet protection purposes, vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking systems.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Greek Law. Any dispute arising from the rental agreement shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece.
